During her 3 years in Jacksonville, Kaitlyn uncovered government corruption, discriminatory education practices, and flaws in the child welfare system. Through her reporting, Kaitlyn was able to help change state law and protect children in the sunshine state.
Before coming south, Kaitlyn started her journalism career in her home state of New York. Working in a few newsrooms upstate, Kaitlyn was a bureau chief, morning reporter, and political reporter.
While she misses the people in New York, she certainly doesn’t miss the winters, and is thrilled to be reporting in Atlanta.
Kaitlyn is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School, and is still an enthusiastic fan of the Orange!
