Writing for Online Audiences

News and feature writing is evolving rapidly for online audiences.  Does the nut graph still have a place? How do you keep your audience reading on the small screen?  Are your sentences shorter? Does each word count more?

This panel will examine how to produce engaging high quality content for online audiences. You will learn the “golden rules” of online writing as well as the basic principles of search engine optimization and how to incorporate these into your work.
